Chapter 10:
After the night of their battle with the controlled beast, Adam and Lorenzo returned to their hideout to rest. Adam was exhausted from the fight, and he slept soundly through the morning. When he woke up, he realized that Lorenzo was nowhere to be found.
Adam searched the hideout and finally stumbled upon a room filled with futuristic weapons and gadgets. He couldn't resist the urge to explore and found a small weapon that he thought would be a useful tool for self-defense, just in case.
As he continued to explore, he stumbled upon the food warehouse. To his surprise, he found large bones of dead animals and plenty of food supplies. Adam couldn't help but wonder where these came from.
As he was walking around, he accidentally dropped a spoon, causing a loud noise that echoed through the room. Suddenly, a deep roar erupted from behind the walls, making Adam jump in fright.
Adam was curious about what could be making that noise, and he started to walk towards the wall to investigate. Suddenly, Lorenzo appeared out of nowhere and stopped him from getting any closer.
"We need to talk," Lorenzo said, grabbing Adam by the arm and pulling him towards the staircase that led to the upper floor.
Once they reached the top, Lorenzo sat Adam down and began to explain. "Adam, you need to be careful. This is not a game, and we're not on some kind of adventure. We're on a mission, and it's dangerous."
Adam looked at Lorenzo, confused. "What are you talking about?"
Lorenzo sighed heavily. "I know you don't remember anything, but we're here to stop the darkness from spreading. And it's not just a matter of finding the source and destroying it. There are forces at work here that we can't even begin to comprehend."
Adam listened intently as Lorenzo continued to explain the gravity of their mission. As he spoke, Adam realized that there was much more at stake than he had initially thought.
He nodded solemnly, realizing that he needed to take this mission more seriously. From that moment on, he would do everything in his power to help Lorenzo and stop the darkness from spreading.
