As Adam stood next to Lorenzo, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The man's demeanor was serious, and his eyes seemed to be searching the stars for answers.
"Teammate?" Adam asked, breaking the silence.
Lorenzo nodded, his gaze still fixed on the night sky. "Yes. We're part of the same group, sent here to complete a mission."
Adam's head was spinning. He couldn't remember anything about a mission or a team. In fact, he couldn't remember anything about himself at all. He had woken up in the forest with no idea of how he had gotten there or why.
"I don't understand," he said. "What mission?"
Lorenzo finally turned to face him. "We're here to stop the darkness from spreading. The same darkness that took your memories and brought you here."
Adam's mind was racing. He didn't know what Lorenzo was talking about, but he could tell that the man was deadly serious.
"How do we stop it?" he asked.
Lorenzo's expression softened. "We have to find the source of the darkness and destroy it. It won't be easy, but we have a plan."
As Lorenzo outlined the plan, Adam felt a sense of purpose stirring inside him. Maybe he couldn't remember his past, but he could still fight for the future. And with Lorenzo by his side, he felt like they might just have a chance.
